Anne Mette Iversen Quartet+1
The Anne Mette Iversen Quartet+1 is an extension of Anne Mette Iversen Quartet, Ms. Iversen's New York City based group. With the addition of a masterful trombonist, the musical relationship and the improvisational rapport of its musicians have developed to the supreme.
Ternion Quartet
Ternion Quartet is an explosive and colourful jazz quartet, working out of Berlin. It's concept of linearity, free flowing improvisations and great grooves, leaves space and freedom for the musicians to follow their intuition and take chances.
Double Life
An exhilarating meeting between jazz and classical music and musicians, and a setup that gives room to both groups on shared and on individual terms. Double Life consists of Anne Mette Iversen Quartet+1 & the string quartet 4 Corners.
Poetry of Earth
The double album Poetry of Earth presents original music set to romantic and new poetry. It represents the outcome of contemplations on our existence and our relationship with nature, and is performed in a chamber music setting, with 2 vocalists, piano, bass and 1 woodwind player.
Anne Mette Iversen Quartet
Formed in 2003 this group is consistently alive on a high plane of delight, and the musicians have developed an exquisite sense of understanding and intuitive interactions. It has 7 albums under its collective belt and many tours.
Everything in Between
The music for the double album 'Everything in Between' was composed while Ms. Iversen was Composer in Residence for Norrbotten Big Band for 2016. It explores multiple musical directions, sounds and moods. In 85 minutes we travel around the world and the year.
Brooklyn Jazz Underground
A founding member of Brooklyn Jazz Underground, Ms. Iversen plays on both albums that the BJU Ensemble has released. Searching for the Brooklyn sound; the BJU members are capturing the exciting current streams of the jazz scene running through Brooklyn.
On the Other Side
Balancing between modern jazz, folk songs and classical music; On the Other Side presents music set to new Danish poetry, arranged for vocal, jazz quintet and string quartet. A different sound and aesthetic, full of great melodies and solos.
